Map 2015

Based on topography, Madavoor Panchayat can be classified into four types: high sloped areas, moderate sloped areas, flatlands, and valleys.

High sloped areas: Located in the upper parts of small and large hills in the panchayat, such as Areekalkunn in Ankkathai, Ethiramparamala, Payngattamala, Vayoramala, and Pullorakunn. This accounts for a small portion of the panchayat's total area.

Moderate sloped areas: A significant portion of the panchayat's total area consists of moderate slopes. These are the most densely populated areas of the panchayat where major agricultural crops (excluding paddy) are found.

Flatlands: Adjoining the moderate sloped areas, where coconut, areca nut, tapioca, and banana are cultivated. These areas suitable for cultivation are now turning into residential zones.

Valleys: Located just below the flatlands. Featuring paddy fields, ponds, and streams, limited paddy cultivation is practiced here, along with coconut, areca nut, and banana.
